About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic Head of A&R with 8+ years of experience in the music industry. In this role, you will lead talent discovery, artist development, and drive strategic partnerships that elevate the Homegrown brand within India’s vibrant music ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead talent scouting and artist development initiatives.
Build and nurture relationships with artists, producers, and industry professionals.
Strategically oversee label partnerships, industry collaborations, and content development.
Identify emerging trends and sounds in India’s independent music scene.
Develop innovative strategies to promote and grow the Homegrown music roster.
Collaborate closely with marketing, events, and content teams to bring artists’ visions to life.
Thrive and lead within a fast-paced, culture-first environment focused on creativity and impact.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
8+ years of proven experience in A&R, music scouting, talent management, or a related field.
Deep, authentic knowledge of India’s independent music landscape across genres.
Strong network within the Indian and global music community.
Strategic thinker with a creative edge, passionate about artist growth and cultural storytelling.
Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills.
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a dynamic, evolving team.
