About the Role
We’re looking for a Creative Director to act as a close creative collaborator and sounding board to a leading singer/songwriter with a strong global footprint.
This is not a traditional “approval” role. This is about taste, instinct, speed, and cultural awareness. You’ll help shape ideas, narratives, visuals, and moments — across music, film, design, live experiences, and digital culture.
You should be someone who lives online and offline, understands emotional storytelling, and can move fluidly between mediums.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a daily/weekly creative sounding board across music, visuals, content, campaigns, live shows, and long-term narrative
- Help translate raw ideas into clear creative directions (themes, moods, visual language)
- Collaborate with filmmakers, designers, photographers, stylists, writers, and digital teams
- Develop and maintain a coherent creative universe across releases, tours, and content
- Spot cultural moments, references, and inspirations early — and know what not to do
- Give honest, fast, and thoughtful feedback (this role requires taste + backbone)
- Help shape creative briefs for videos, artwork, stage design, merch, and content
Ideal Background
- Filmmaker / Visual Artist / Designer / Writer / Multidisciplinary Creative
- Strong exposure to multiple mediums (film, music, fashion, internet culture, art, design)
- Young, fast, culturally fluent, and forward-thinking
- Has opinions — and can articulate them clearly
- Comfortable working closely with an artist without ego or hierarchy issues
