About the job

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and executing our marketing strategy. You will lead our marketing campaigns, evaluate our marketing performance metrics, and collaborate with internal teams. You will have a strong marketing background with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to revive interest in older songs of Saregama Catalogue considering target demographics and market trends.
  • Utilize social media platforms and other digital channels to reach a wide audience and generate buzz around the songs.
  • Form partnerships with brands, influencers, and other artists to expand the reach of the songs and tap into new fan bases.
  • Engage with fans through online communities, fan clubs, and events to foster a sense of community and loyalty around the songs.
  • Work with revenue team to monetize the songs through YT, OTT platforms and licensing deals.
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to breathe new life into older songs and create lasting connections with both existing fans and new audiences.

Skills

  • Passionate about music and understanding of genres and trends to identify which older songs from the Saregama Catalogue have the potential for renewed popularity.
  • Ability to develop marketing plans tailored to the target audience
  • Proficiency in utilizing various digital platforms such as social media, streaming services, and email marketing to reach and engage audiences.
  • Strong networking skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to think outside the box and develop innovative marketing strategies to promote the content
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexibility to adapt strategies and tactics based on evolving market trends and audience preferences.
