Gear up for AMA 2017 & recall the moments that defined AMA’s last year

The 45th Annual American Music Awards will take place on 19 November 2017, at the Microsoft Theatre (Los Angeles). Hosted by Tracee Ellis Ross, it will be broadcast on ABC and will be exclusively aired on Vh1 on Monday 20 November at 6:30 am and a repeat telecast at 9 pm.

Let’s go down memory lane and check the best and the worst moments from AMA 2016.

Best: Green Day on Trump- Halfway through their performance of Bang! Bang!, they shouted “No Trump, No Fascist USA.”

Worst: The Chainsmokers’ awkward appearance- Following their clumsy performance of their hit Closer at the AMAs, the duo wanted to cover up! It was not bad, although it wasn’t extraordinary.

Best: Lady Gaga’s Million Reasons- Gaga’s performance of Joanne’s ballad Million Reasons can never be forgotten!

Worst: Gigi Hadid’s Melania Trump impression- Was this even needed?

Best: Drake’s Apple Commercial- This was expected following Taylor Swift’s Jumpman Apple commercial. The girls definitely loved this one!

Worst: Jay Pharoah’s rant on Kanye – Pharoah is a brilliant mimic, however, this time Kanye’s pre-written rant — failed to break the fans into a laugh!

Best: Niall Horan’s solo performance- His guitar-heavy performance of This Town was enjoyable. Teens are certainly getting something right, sometimes!
