Game on between 9XM & Mastiii



In week 19 of Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) all India (U+R) data, the channels saw a big change in the chart. Keeping the battle on, 9XM beats Mastiii with a major growth in numbers from 125900 Impressions (‘000s) to 149778 Impressions (‘000s), claiming the first position (Week 17 saw 9XM at the top as well).

Mastiii, at the second position, did see a rise in numbers from 127628 Impressions (‘000s) to 139012 Impressions (‘000s).

Sony MIX managed to maintain its third position with a significant rise in numbers from 117429 Impressions (‘000s) to 125220 Impressions (‘000s), same as last week.

B4U Music also increased in numbers from 113007 Impressions (‘000s) to 121785 Impressions (‘000s), however, had to settle at the fourth position.

In week 19 MTV Beats witnessed a rise from 109866 Impressions (‘000s)to 119456 Impressions (‘000s), however, didn’t change the spot.

Among other music channels, Music India, Zee ETC Bollywood, WOW exchanged positions, as Music India (Last week’s tenth placeholder) moves up to the eighth position with 18029 Impressions (‘000s).

Zee ETC Bollywood (Last week’s eighth placeholder) is at the ninth spot with 17705 Impressions (‘000s) and WOW is at the tenth with 14538 Impressions (‘000s).

VH1 HD finished week 19 with a drop in numbers from 683 Impressions (‘000s) to 398 Impressions (‘000s).
