Pancham Soundscape – Melody and Beats

April 5, 6:00 pm

As promised, Euphony wants the spring of 2019 to be worth remembering for all the music lovers across boundaries. Time is for getting together once more under one shade for our dearest Panchamda, reliving our golden past with melodies and remembrances of their BOSS by those men who saw him from closest quarters.

This time on the 5th of April, Friday, we have crafted our show to focus on the melodic and rhythmic aspects of Panchamda. The minute details of his work will be analyzed and presented by Three legends of our lifetime. Nitin Shankar is not just a phenomenal percussionist but has always been the truest disciple of Maruti Rao Keer, Panchamda's chief rhythm assistant. Who better than Nitin Shankar to demonstrate the widest array of rhythms in his compositions?

Then there will be the harmonium sensation Sachin Jambhekar who hasn’t missed a Euphony show in the last 12 months more because of overwhelming public demand. One has to see to believe how Harmonium can sound as strong as a brass instrument when Sachin ji plays it, and this time there is going to be something different as well.

And last but not the least, we will have the FLUTE WIZARD for the first time in a Euphony show. Ronu Mazumdar, a name that brings joy to many, will pay tribute to his dearest Panchamda in a way which only he can do. A career spanning as many as twelve years with Panchamda will be a vast repertoire of knowledge and experience. Ronu Da will mesmerize us, to say the least.
