been active as a DJ since 2010 and raised on Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, Young Jeezy and Snoop Dogg, BLUnt is

Born 17thFebruary 1993, it would take VineetNair only 14 years of his natural life to realize his true calling –Hip-Hop Music. Stepping into the scene at a time where there were a negligible amount of Hip-Hop artists, his artistic journey started 6 years later, being just 20 years old and perfecting the art of rap. Dropping his debut mixtape “Lifelines” gained him a lot of ears across the Indian masses, but he wanted more, he wanted their hearts.
At age 23, he dropped his debut studio album –“Greatness” (2015). This album would go down as essential listening for Hip-Hop enthusiasts and casual listeners across the country. It earned him a spot on MTV India’s show “Music Diaries” along with award nominations, but what he truly achieved was the love of his listeners. He got their hearts to tune in to his music.
A multi-lingual emcee who spits versatile flows and puts his heart to the music. The imprint that he leaves on his fans and listeners is one to experience.
MC Altaf, is an 18-year old Hip-Hop artist from Dharavi, Mumbai. He has a string of successful releases under his belt. He also has a song in ZoyaAkhtar’s Gully Boy, a Bollywood movie coming out in 2019. His music video “Wassup!” also features actor RanveerSingh in a cameo.
Amid these great highs in his life, AltafShaikh has just one worry: The fact that his rising fame in Mumbai’s hip-hop scene will make collaborators ask him to rap on love and ladki(girls). But “Meratohyehstyle nahihai(That’s not my style),” he tells spectators. “I write on social causes, about what’s happening in the country, about my life in the ’hood. I’m a hardcore rapper.”
