Sacred Music Concert with Improvisational Dance

7.30 pm to 8.30 pm

A powerful and stirring musical tribute by sacred vocalist Shruthi Vishwanath and musicians, Hitesh Dhutia and Vinayak Netke, to the poetry of great women mystics, this music, and dance theatre premiere invoke a range of poets, from the female varkaris of Maharashtra to the Tamil poet Andal and Buddhist nun Bhadda Kundalakesha. Kathak and contemporary dancer Sanjukta Wagh weaves her way in and out of this performance in an improvisational dialogue with the music.
