Goa will witness traditional music and cuisine from northeast India at ‘Octave’, a five-day cultural festival from 8-12 November 2017, at Ravindra Bhavan, Margao.
Octave will see performances by nearly 350 dance and music artistes from eight states i.e. Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Assam, Manipur, Sikkim and Tripura.
The festival will highlight the region’s rich homegrown culture through presentation of colorful and fascinating tribal dance and folk music.
The event will also highlight a variety of northeastern Indian cuisine, handicraft and home decor items.
