In week 17 of Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC), all India (U+R) data, the biggest change is in the numbers of two major Hindi Music Channels 9XM and Mastiii.
After a long time, 9XM is at the first position beating the common topper Mastiii with a significant rise in numbers. From last week where 9XM got 139934 Impressions (‘000s), the numbers jumped to 150873 Impressions (‘000s), whereas Mastiii saw a major drop in numbers from 143644 Impressions (‘000s) to 138441 Impressions (‘000s), and rests at the second position.
Last week’s third-place holder Sony MIX witnessed a rise in numbers from 116342 Impressions (‘000s) to 120633 Impressions (‘000s), however, pushed back by B4U Music to the fourth position.
As a result, B4U Music is at the third position with a substantial rise in numbers from 115936 Impressions (‘000s) to 129049 Impressions (‘000s).
In week 17, MTV Beats saw a growth in numbers from 110783 Impressions (‘000s) to 114310 Impressions (‘000s), managing to maintain the fifth position.
Among other Hindi Music Channels, they maintained the positions similar to last week.
Same as last week, VH1 HD finished the week 17 at the bottom with a major drop in numbers from 968 Impressions (‘000s) to 386 Impressions (‘000s).
