With praises flowing in from Boiler Room, Gilles Peterson to The Gaslamp Killer and even Snoop Dogg, Buttering Trio is one of the successful musical groups in Israel and they are on the brink of exploding. Presented by Mixtape, Tel Aviv’s popular musical outfit is all set for a multi-city tour in India this February. The trio will perform in four cities including slots at Vh1 Supersonic and Udaipur World Music Festival.

They will be performing at Auro in New Delhi on 8 February, followed by another gig in Bangaluru on 9 February at Fandom at Gilly’s Redefined. On 10th February the trio will be heading to Pune for VH1 Supersonic and the last leg of the tour will end at Udaipur World Music Festival on 11 February.

Talk about a divine blend of loop-based beats, fat basslines, live instruments with sweet yet poignant lyrics, Rejoicer, Beno and Keren Dun are three gentle souls from Tel Aviv who have earned an ever-growing fan base with their music across the world. With three acclaimed albums namely Toast, Jam and Threesome, the trio has shared the stage with a number of renowned musicians such as Hudson Mohawke, Peanut Butter Wolf, Baauer, Thundercat in the past and have seen radio support by Worldwide FM and Ninja Tune’s Solid Steel Radio.

Buttering Trio’s tour will be supported by Rijul Victor’s solo project Corridors in New Delhi and Nikhil Narendra/Shreyas Dipali (Deidra) in Bengaluru. Corridors’ knowledge of playing over ten instruments feeds deeply into his producer/composer avatar, and his live set encompasses ambient, glitch and experimental music. Nikhil (synths, samples) and Shreyas (drums) embrace the different musical worlds that surround them and produce organic, raw and modern soundscapes.
