Having shot to fame with Bedardi Raja (Delhi Belly), Ambarsariya (Fukrey) and Naina (Khoobsurat), Sona Mohapatra is an incredibly talented singer, musician and songwriter. Back in 2007, she released her first album Sona with Sony Records. But, 2009 was the year she “arrived” with her single Diljale and Close Up’s jingle Paas Aao Na which was recorded in several languages. She sung Satyamev Jayate’s theme songs Mujhe Kya Bechega Rupaiya and Ghar Yaad Aata Hai Mujhe which received rave reviews.

Music Plus caught up with Sona’s better half Ram Sampath who is a well-established composer and musician in the Indian music industry. He began his career composing ad jingles, subsequently, he composed for Shaan’s pop album Tanha Dil in 2000. Soon Ram started composing for Bollywood films such as KhakeeDelhi BellyTalaashRaees etc.
