The 2018 MTV Europe Music Awards, held on the 4th of November 2018 in Bilbao, Spain, saw the women dominating the winners list as well as the performances for the night.
Nicki Minaj kicked off the night with a flawless performance of ‘Good Form’. She was later joined on stage by Little Mix for a performance of their hit ‘Woman Like Me’. Hailee Steinfeld who was host for the night, also put up an amazing performance of her hit ‘Back To Life’.
Jason Derulo, David Guetta and Nicki Minaj combined forces to put on one of the most extra and most memorable performances of the night, beginning with Jason Derulo singing opera!
Jack & Jack were floated above the stage for their performance of ‘Rise’.Camila Cabello was the night’s biggest winner with wins in four categories including Best Artist, Best Video and Best Song! Indian rappers Big-Ri & Meba Ofilia won the 2018 Europe Music Awards Best India Act. The Best Rock act was won by 5 Seconds of Summer while
Panic! At The Disco took home the Best Alternative Rock act. DJ/Producer Marshmello won the Best Electronic act.
Superstar Janet Jackson was the outstanding performer for the night with ‘Made For Now’, ‘Rhythm Nation’ and ‘All For You’ Janet was conferred the Global Icon Award. The grand finale saw Anne-Marie, Marshmello and Bastille take the stage to perform ‘Friends’ and ‘Happier’ ending the night with a bang!
